so I was walking down the street and i saw this midget. And behind him were two really stylie looking girls, and one had a little dog on a leash. But from the angle i was out, for one instant I couldnt see the dog and it looked like the girl was walking the midget. And for that second, part of me really believed that pet midgets was going to be the next "in" thing.

Second Annual "Beef & Guns" Night

Had a tough week? Law School got you down? Think you may have failed the MPRE? What you need is a nice pedicure, a hug, and some herbal tea, right?

Wrong.

What you need is an hour and a half of semi-automatic, muscle-wrenching, ear-splitting, acetone-tasting gunfire, room to yell, and enough ammo to turn your target into confetti. Immediately followed by rare red meat.

Join us Friday, March 25th, at 7:00 pm for firearm instruction and target practice with the nice folks at Westside Rifle and Pistol Range. From there we'll head to Frank's for an excellent steak dinner. All you need is $102.20, a picture ID and a pulse (forget the steak dinner, just the opportunity to fire off 150 rounds of ammo in Manhattan--legally--is worth 100 big ones).

The New York Times > Dining & Wine > Mumbai to Midtown, Chaat Hits the Spot

always a trendsetter

The New York Times > Dining & Wine > Mumbai to Midtown, Chaat Hits the Spot: "Going for a chaat, Mr. Sharma says, is a social act with the same casual sociability as going for a beer. (Most Indians are Hindus and Muslims and drink little or no alcohol.) 'After work a group of men will buy each other rounds of chaat on the way to the train and sometimes even have competitions over who can eat more.' Piyush Sukhadia, an owner of chaat-and-sweet stores, said. 'In India a guy might have a Mercedes and live in a house on a hill, but he still puts on his slippers and goes to eat chaat.'"

satisfactory, superior, excellent

so along with my loving law school thing, ive come to the realization tat we proabbly are, like hulsebosch said, the happiest law school. Today in class i got called on by sgtweart when i was absolutley not paying attention. So after stumbling i gave my answer, which was apparently the wrong answer. I was wonvinced by him that i was talking about the wrong case, and up on IM flashes corey, with the right answer. Though the catch is *corey is not in my class*. Corey's friend, who sits behind me, had told him to IM me the answer. how sweet.

and then, i actually got my only good grade, on one of the little assignments. The greates thign is that his grading scale is satisfactory, superior, excellent. get it? excellent is better than superior. we think its a latin thing. Mick said that it was funny for a place that cares so much about words.

and david and I joke about standing up in richards class and saying "you have taken away my will to live" and then having him blamed for causing suicide.
